Welcome to the NOVEMBER – YESSSS November release Hop at Sweet N Sassy Stamps! Where. Has. The. Year. Gone!.… this year has seriously flown by my friends. This month we are celebrating Sweet N Sassy’s 13th Birthday and we have some super fun and funny birthday images this month.

I feel like we are trying to catch up this month for many months of inactivity at work and it is super hard to keep up! That is why I love the funny, snarky sets this month. They are just a way to create without being too serious. JUST what I needed . What about you? For now, just enjoy all the inspiration the team has for you! I hope you have fun!

You should have arrived here from Lee Ann’s page. If not, jump back there so you don’t miss anything. Hop along to all of the blogs (listed below just in case something goes wrong along the way) for even more inspiration with the October stamps. Leave a little comment at each stop on the hop before 10pm on November 24th and you might just be a lucky winner! One lucky comment from all the comments along the hop will win a $25 gift voucher to the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, November 25th.

This month I am featuring the Humorous Birthday Innies.  And just wait and see…these can be used on the outside too!!

My first project is a clean and simple card. It uses the Birthday Borders Set to compliment the sentiment. I colored the candles with polychromos pencils. Then using the first sentence from one of the Birthday Innie phrases by masking off the bottom part, I embossed with white powder on black to stand out on my candles.

My second project is an art journal page or double page spread rather… I used the center two pages of my mini art journal and had a ton of fun.

I used the GG Celebrate digital stamp. I blew it up so that the cake part was big enough to cover my journal page (that is why I love digis!! You can make them as big or small as you want!) I colored it with copics.

I used the same sentiment that I used for my card but then followed it with the Fire department sentiment. In order to make it look like those candles were burning bright enough to need a fire department, I colored a layer of yellow ink over the entire colored image. I was afraid at first but I went for it. Then I fussy cut that cake out, added some yellow ink in the middle of my journal page to tie it together, the glued the cake on top – it kind of looks like fire doesn’t it?.

Using the Typewriter text background and Texture Tiles 1, I added a little texture to my pages. It cut the sentiment into little strips and glued it down and I think I love it!

I hope you had fun hoping along and were inspired by all you saw! NOW head over to see what Sheri has created for you!!

If if you get the opportunity to craft with some of these great stamps (or any other SNSS stamp) we would love to see what you create on our SNSS VIP Group Facebook Page; Or tag your creations with #snss or #sweetnsassystamps on Instagram.
