Hop Order:

This month I am featuring an un-BEE-lievably awesome new set called BEE SWEET. I L-O-V-E this one! It was so much fun to play with and I still have tons of ideas for more projects. Today I created fun backgrounds then used simple layouts so the backgrounds could shine.

For the first one, I ink blended a background with Distress Oxides and inked up and repeatedly stamped the hexie cluster image to create a background. Then I stamp a sentiment and a little bee on a circle die. I also printed it on another page and colored it and fussy cut it. I glued it on top of the inked bee just down the middle so I could get a little dimension on the wings. I popped the sentiment circle up on foam for more dimension.

For the second card, I played along with a Rina K technique to create a sort of Joseph’s Coat type background using Distress Oxides and a Hexie Stencil. I again inked a sentiment on a die (this time a rectangle) and popped the sentiment up on foam for some dimension. I inked and colored and fussy cut the honey jar for this one…sooo fun!

I love these and plan to make more for sure! I hope you are inspired to do so as well!

NOW head over to see what Sheri has created for you!!
