My projects today features Happy Couple and a great complimentary sentiment set Marriage Scripture. These have so much potential but I decided to get creative a bit and still keep it somewhat simple.

The first card is clean and simple using the couple and a scripture on kraft.

  • I used Neenah Dessert Storm paper and colored the image up with my Polychromos colored pencils. Since his suit is filled in on the stamp, I used Archival Shadow Grey to ink it up them I was able to create some shading.
  • To finish my card, I Outlined the image with a black box and added the scripture on the front. It can also go on the inside but I thought it was a great addition to the front of my card.

My second card today is a simple shaker card and uses the cake from Happy Couple and (since it is a wedding card) rice.

  • I used the watercolor paper for this one and colored the cake with Inktense pencils – it was pretty quick and simple and only required 3 pencils to get the shading I wanted.
  • I fussy cut the cake and adhered to the front of my shaker element.
  • With Versafine Black Onyx Ink, I stamped the sentiment. (I lined the words up in separate areas of my MISTI to be able to get them tight and neat.
  • For a finishing touch, I added rice and that is all I needed!

Now it is time to hop on and see what the incredibly talented Monika Davis has for you!

I hope you are inspired to create today and see how you can stretch your stamps (or bring old ones to life again!) And if you get the opportunity to craft with some of these great stamps (or any other SNSS stamp) we would love to see what you create on our SNSS VIP Group Facebook Page; Or tag your creations with #snss or #sweetnsassystamps on Instagram.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
