Happy Saturday! I hope you had a great week – mine was hectic but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel 🙂

I have two cards to share today.

For the first one, I had so much fun playing with a 12×12 stencil, 12×12 watercolor paper, and the Vintage Van set. I have several background pages from this play session so you may see it again and again. I used different inks on them so they look somewhat different but I was trying to create a “groovy” look haha and I think I achieved it with the Brushos. What do you think?

Since the paper was 12×12, I decided to create a slimline card9″x3.5″ approximately…I colored the image with Copic markers and used a sentiment from All About You – super fun card!

For My second card, I stamped the image directly onto a Dessert Sand card base and colored it with polychromos pencils. To create texture and interest, I used distress oxides and a peace sign embossing folder to create a light, messy background. This one turned out pretty fun too!

I hope you are inspires to add texture and dimension using the tools you have. Stencils and Embossing folders are perfect for this!

Thanks for stopping by!
