This month I am featuring the Encouraging Peonies set. The possibilities are endless with this beautiful set!! I brainstormed quite a few but only got two done for today (oh well that means more to come 🙂 ) It also has some very thoughtful sentiments which is always a bonus with a great image stamp set.

For my first card, I created a simple flower with an added leaf and a sentiment from the set. I stamped my image onto kraft cardstock with Archival Ink and colored it with polychromos pencils. I wrapped some jute at the bottom and added it to a cream card base.

For my second card, I used the large flower and inked it right side up and up side down on a piece of white cardstock using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I left about a one inch gap between the two floral images, then created a sentiment strip using a sentiment from the October Stamp of the Month: My Thoughts of You to fill in the gap. Do you ever go black and white with your images? It was really hard not to put color to the page but I kept it all black and white and I think it has a very striking look – really like this one.

I hope you had fun hoping along and were inspired by all you saw! NOW head over to see what Sheri has created for you!!

If if you get the opportunity to craft with some of these great stamps (or any other SNSS stamp) we would love to see what you create on our SNSS VIP Group Facebook Page; Or tag your creations with #snss or #sweetnsassystamps on Instagram.
