This month’s release is fabulous and ranges from Sentiment Mash ups to Birthday borders and sweet Springtime images to stunning dragonflies and fun Alphas :)!
I used some distress oxide inks on watercolor paper for my first project – A quick and easy birthday tag. I stamped the border of candles and the mashed up sentiment in black archival ink then did simple coloring (no shading) with some Pitt Brush Pens.
For My Second card I created a fun colorful background with Oxides, then repeated the word YOU with Shake It Off Alphas on a panel. I used oxides and clear embossing powder for the complimentary sentiments with Sentimental Mash-up. I flicked splashes of oxides to coordinate with the background.
My final card uses the balloon border – I practiced “ballon-y” shading on this one using Copics. I also finally tried my hand at a sky background with distress oxides and a cloud stencil. Not perfect, but it was fun! I added a banner with the Birthday mashup I used on my tag. I love this one – it is so bright and cheery and CAS!
I hope you are feeling inspired!! NOW head over to see what Sheri has created for you!!
