Welcome to From the Heart Stamps April blog hop! If you have arrived from KELLY’S BLOG, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps Blog, so you don’t miss anything.
The theme this month is “I’m no Spring Chicken”. Since I actually made this card on April 1st – I thought it would be fun to go with a funny, making fun (in a loving way of course) birthday card. That is just where my mind went, what can I say?
I have been wanting to create a card with a few “gathered” characters (a kind of scene,) so I decided to add a few birthday images that looked surprised and/or disgruntled since I was poking fun. (My Daddy turns 70 this year – he gets it!!)
I hope you like today’s card using Party Hat Birdbrain, Surprised Birdbrain, and, just for a little variety, the oh so funny A Little Something.
As you hop along, leave a comment on each blog. One random commenter will be picked from each blog and on the FTHS blog to win an image of their choice from the FTHS store.
Recipe for my card:
- Image: Party Hat Birdbrain, Surprised Birdbrain, A Little Something. digis by From the Heart Stamps
- Paper: White and Black card (Papertry Ink)
- Ink: Copics
- Other: Basic and Polka dot backdrop dies (A Jillian Vance Design)
Our hop will end on Sunday April 9th 2017 at 6 am, and the winners will be posted on Wednesday April 13th.
Now head over to MICHELLE’S BLOG and see what inspiration she has for you.
Have fun hopping and have a wonderful weekend!!
Lyn

I’m going to have to remember to use my stamps together like you did with these card! Also the way you let the images do the talking by not adding anything else! FABULOUS!
