Happy Summer Everyone!
For my mid-week inspiration at From the Heart Stamps, I CASEd a cute card from Joanna Harty – because ice cream is a perrrrrfect summer time image right? (OK I know that this is a Valentine’s image, but it is versatile I think – what do you think? Valentine’s Ice Cream
I used Tim Holtz water color paper and did Laura Bassen’s smoosh technique with Abandoned Coral distress Ink. I colored the image with Copic markers [RV10, R21, R22, R24, R27, R29, E70, E74, E77, E79, E31, E33, E35], fussy cut it and popped it on a black strip with my sentiment (embossed in white) from Hambo Stamps called “Stay Cool”.
FUN card right?? Well STAY COOL y’all!
Challenges:
- Top Tip Tuesday – Summer Fun Challenge (TIP – Use a white gel pen to put a few dots in the corners of your image, or wherever you want to add them, and it can make the image pop in a fun way.)
- Tuesday Throwdown- #252 No Patterned Paper
- Crafting When We Can – Challenge 98 – Summer Fun
- Pile It On – Pile It On #76 – Hot Fun in the Summertime
