Remember when you were a kid how much fun it was to pile up leaves then jump into the pile and just play in them? This image from Hambo Stamps makes me feel like that… nostalgic and happy because fall is my favorite season of ALL!
Now that I am adult, however, it seems like every tree in North Georgia drops its leaves in my yard, so I am not so excited about raking them into piles. That was not said in a bah humbug way though because everything else about fall is FANTASTIC!
For my card today, I used a simple card sketch from Freshly Made Sketches (#103). I used fall paper from DCWV and The paper studio and mounted it onto dark chocolate cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I cut out my image with a Spellbinders square die and added some buttons (simply chartreuse PTI) and twine.
I colored up my image “Leaf Angels” with Copics – a LOT of Copics (see all those leaves LOL!)
