It is Wednesday and it’s time for another Hambo Hoedown! Our image today is “Pirate”, which was free to those that participated in last week’s Hoedown. The challenge this week is to create a project that incorporates A MAP. It can be a designer paper, hand-drawn, clip art, a real map, etc…
For my card, I surfed the net for a digital treasure map and found a really fun one, complete with an “X” to mark the spot, HERE.
I kept my card pretty simple. The treasure map prints square so I went with a 4.25″X4.25″ sized card.
I printed out the sentiment and fussy cut my pirate then used pop dots to adhere it to the map. I colored my pirate with Copics [E39, E35, E33, Y26, Y28, E00, E11, E21, B000, B00, B02, B06, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9, C1, C3, C5, YR67, YR63]. In order to keep with the color of the map, I also colored the sentiment background with Copic Y21.
This is a really fun image! Come join the Hoedown or “Walk the plank!!”
I am also going to enter this card into the following challenges:
