This is my first post as a design team member for Sunshine Mail Challenges. What a great opportunity to do something awesome with our cards…
Sunshine Mail Foundation, provides children in need comfort, support and joy through free Sunshine Mail Care Packages. Sunshine Mail is filled with handmade cards (THIS IS WHERE WE COME IN), care essentials and other age appropriate items and delivered to children in hospitals, homeless shelters, foster care and children facing medical challenges.
Our sponsor for this week’s challenge is Bugaboo stamps – I love them! They are such cute, whimsical images. For today’s challenge, I chose the winter bird building a snowman. It is precious!
This is a pretty simple card, using a sketch challenge from Splitcoast Stampers – SC346. I kept the card in line with the snow theme using snowy DP, a snowy embossing folder and a cute sentiment reminding us to “Stay Cool”
I lined the inside of the card with white cardstock edged with the snowy EF.
Please join the challenge this week! Though prizes are involved, just participating is a reward in itself – imagine the child that gets your card, and how a smile on their face is due to the time you put into creating a card especially for them!!
